Research
Novici’s internal R&D program is conducted in our fully equipped laboratory facility and combines GRAMMR gene shuffling technology with additional capabilities covering the spectrum of gene expression, protein purification and screening of novel molecules. This work is currently carried out in collaboration with researchers at United States Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Disease (USAMRIID), with primary emphasis on enhancing the therapeutic potential and broadening the activity spectrum of antiviral protein candidates.
Our extensive collection of high-quality, genetically shuffled protein variants contains molecules with enhanced properties that we continue to evolve toward even higher functional activity. Our multifaceted screening and molecular evolution program in infectious disease combines direct assessment of protein activities in cellular assays and biochemical screens that target specific virulence determinants.
